Launching strong smartphones in the New Delhi budget category, Xiaomi made a distinct identity in India and captured the number one title. The company is constantly trying to strengthen its position in the market. The company attracted customers by launching new and better features phones at an affordable price. But now it seems that Xiaomi is not able to do anything new and the Redmi 6 series can be called the latest example of this. The company launched Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Redmi 6 Pro smartphones in the country this month. Redmi 6 Pro is the most expensive smartphone among these three and its price starts from Rs 10,999.
At the launch, the company said that the Redmi 6 Pro has been designed for the power user. Talking about the specifications, we did not find anything new in the device. We used this smartphone for some time and reviewed it. Know what are the features and drawbacks in the phone...

Talking about the following:

Design
Build quality, Xiaomi has always done a better job and it is the same as the Redmi 6 Pro. The smartphone comes with a metal unibody design. The phone is a bit heavy and looks a bit like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.

There is a vertical dual rear camera and a round fingerprint sensor on the Redmi 6 Pro rear. On the front, the phone has a Nokia X-like notch display. The selfie camera and other sensors are available in the screen notch. The bezel given in the phone is thick. Xiaomi is not making much change in the design of its smartphones compared to other companies.

Power buttons and volume rocker buttons are provided on the right side in the handset. There is a SIM card tray on the left side. The good thing is that two SIMs and a MicroSD card slot have been given in Redmi 6 Pro. The phone has an IR blaster and 3.5mm audio jack, while the bottom has a micro USB charging port and speakers. Overall, there is nothing new or extraordinary in the design of the Redmi 6 Pro. Like other smartphones in the

Display
Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro also comes with 18: 9 aspect ratios. This smartphone has a 5.8 inch IPS LCD full HD display, which has a resolution of 1080x2280 pixels. The display is quite bright and the phone does not have any problem using sunlight.
Xiaomi has worked on their display in their new smartphones and we saw this in the Redmi 6 Pro. Color reproduction on the phone is better. If you don't like Notch, then there is an option to hide it. Like other smartphones of Xiaomi, it has a reading mode.

Apart from color reproduction, the contrast levels in the handset are also good. Users can also adjust the white balance of the display. Viewing angles are also fine and the gaming experience is also good due to the large display.

Performance
Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor has been given in the performance Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro. With this processor, all the work in the phone gets done properly. However, at times when playing heavy graphics games like Shadow Fight, we noticed a problem like hang. So if you are thinking of buying a gaming smartphone then the Redmi 6 Pro is not for you.

The smartphone has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB inbuilt storage, which can be increased via microSD card. The audio experience from the phone was fine. The sound coming from earphones is better than a loudspeaker. There was no problem while calling us.

Talking about the software, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system, above which the company's MUI 9 skin. At the time of launch, the company announced that the device will soon get the MIUI 10 update. Apps like Facebook, Amazon, and PhonePe come pre-installed in the phone.

The bad thing is that there is no option to delete pre-installed apps in the smartphone. The MIUI is clearer and more stable as always. We did not face any problem while running the apps. The phone never hangs during multi-tasking and the multi-window feature also worked as per our expectation.

Camera
Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has a dual-camera setup with AI features, which is equipped with 12 megapixels primary and 5-megapixel secondary camera. The camera setup of the Redmi Note 5 Pro has been given in the phone. The camera has AI portrait mode and electronic image stabilization. The device has a 5 megapixel AI selfie camera. However, the camera does not work very well.
We compared the camera of Honor 9N to the Redmi 6 Pro with the same price category. We noticed that the image in the Redmi 6 Pro is slow processing and there is a lack of sharpness in the photos.
The camera app is also similar to other Xiaomi smartphones. The company has given many modes like Square, Manual, Panorama. Photos captured in daylight are bright and color reproduction is also good. Electrical image stabilization is also average. Slow image processing is the main problem of the camera.
This is the first time we have seen such a problem in a Xiaomi smartphone. Prior to this, no phone of Xiaomi noticed complaints of slow image processing. Noise is seen in pictures taken with the camera in low light. Turning on HDR mode improves picture detailing, but you need to stabilize your hands and take pictures. The front camera also gives a decent picture in good light but is frustrating in low light. Overall, the camera of this smartphone is disappointing. If you want to buy a smartphone with a good camera, then the Redmi 6 Pro is not for you.

Battery
To give power to the Redmi 6 Pro, a battery of 4000 mAh has been given. The company claims that the smartphone will get talk time of up to 48 hours on a single charge. However, during the review, we found that the phone lasted for a day with one time charging and all routine work. The price of the

Conclusion
Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro starts at Rs 10,999. The phone has all the features of a budget handset. However, this is not a perfect package to buy. The weight of the smartphone is also slightly higher and the camera is also average. This means that you can think of other options available in the market. You can think of buying Honor 9N instead of Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, which comes at this price. The design and performance of Honor 9N is much better.
